THE SAINT IN FINLAND

Finland_saint_book_coverThe Saint paperback I wrote to tie-in with the Val Kilmer film was translated into Finnish. I didn't even hear about it until today. Does this mean I get more money? No.  Due to some quirk in my contract I don't make a cent off of foreign translations -- I am supposed to get four free copies of the book, and that's it. I never got even one free copy of the Finland edition.  I don't think it would be particularly wise from an author/publisher relationship perspective (despite this being my only book for Pocketbooks) to complain about it.   If you read Finnish, get the book and tell me if it is anything like the original.
