------------------- You missed last weeks fabulous show? Weep not! Here is the entire show in three parts!
The events unfolding in El Dorado bring into sharp focus the tragedy that is child abuse in Texas. The sheer magnitude of the over 400 children that the court in San Angelo decided to keep in the state’s custody brings attention to an already overburdened system as it scrambles to serve these children.
The sad and overlooked fact is that these children represent less than one percent of the more than 47,000 children that were placed in the state’s custody last year due to evidence of abuse or neglect. Many have horrific and disturbing injuries.
