I have essentially the same blog content ih several locations -- here, on Amazon Author connect, and on My Space. Lately, I havn't bothered updateing MySpace because I can't tell if anyone bothers reading it. I get no comments from My Space whatsoever. Then again, my Amazon blog doesn't generate comments either, although I do get the "0 out of 1 who voted liked this post." Does that mean one person took the time to say they DIDN"T like what I wrote? Swell.
If you have any insights into MySpace blogs vs Typepad vs Amazon, let me know.

I have very similar experiences. I run the same text through four different blogs, but MySpace produces no feedback at all. Best seems to be OpenDiary which sometimes produces comments within minutes!

My general feeling is that MySpace is basically for teenagers and dating singles. I could be wrong, but that's the vibe I get. Also, the interface is so non user friendly, that I just don't like looking at anything on MySpace.
The Amazon thing is kinda cool, because you can keep up with authors that you've read, but in reality, I rarely ever read those posts. I go to Amazon to buy something or look up something, and then I'm done. I hardly ever think about or have time for the blog posts over there.
This blog here is the kind of thing I like to read. It's straight forward, not a lot of clutter. I don't have to do a lot of digging just to read the everyday dialog.
So, in general, I just feel more comfortable with this type of blog.
I don't know if MySpace or Amazon allows you to embed a stats tracker like Sitemeter, but if so, that might help you determine who's reading what.
