Go figure. Either forces were conspiring against us, or the delay is all for the best. Cop a plea for 1 yr in prison -- welcome to the real world

American justice is not about justice. Ask any defense lawyer or hamstrung prosecutor under pressure to convict the accused even if they are blatantly innocent -- if you can make the case, you can win the case. It's not about what's right, it's a game. Sadly, the defendants are not seen as people but as game pieces in an overcrowded and chaotic system where prisons are an industry.  One recent guest on our show confirmed that she was instructed to prosecute someone even though the person was clearly innocent of the charges. It isn't the way it is supposed to be, it isn't the way we imagine, and most of us are never ever aware of just how insane the situation is until we find ourselves in the middle of it.  This week, our first guest is a family man working in real estate who suddenly found himself under surrounded by police and blocked by a SWAT team. "We've got you now," they exclaimed. "Got me for WHAT? I'm evaluating real estate!"  Bottom line: he pleads guilty to something, anything to get 12 months and go home.  What happens in those 12 months will leave you drop jawed and stunned -- the abuse behind bars was nothing compared to what happened to his life andf family while he was gone -- thousands of dollars in fraud committed in his name, using his identification. "They caught the culprits because I obviously couldnt be buying a Mercedes and  a condo in Marina Del Rey at the same time I'm in prison"
Now free and eager to share his bizarre adventures in the weird world of American justice, this fine gent gives us peek into a world of law and order where the law is bendable and something is certainly out of order.

 they actually called him by the same slogan as THE SAINT -- Robin Hood of Modern Crime.

"We decided to rip off the bad guys — we were pirates — we were good guys wearing black hats,” Glazer says. “There were contracts out on me all over. I mean, the Mexican mob wanted me dead, and the cops were closing in. I mean, it was kind of embarrassing. We were making more arrests than they were. They would find people walking around with handcuffs on them. We also did stings as IRS agents and just took their cash.”

Glazer quit, returned to Kansas and later went to work as an undercover agent for notorious Kansas Attorney General Verne Miller. He also did prison time in Arizona in the 1980s. His end game on the book deal, aside, of course, from making money and a sequel:

“I don’t know if I’ll get a movie deal or not. What I really wanted to do is tell my story, and now I have.”
