Tina Dirmann, author of VANISHED AT SEA didn’t show up for her interview last Saturday on TRUE CRIMES. Thankfully, our other guest, Robin Sax, was able to fill an entire hour easily. Worried about Ms Dirmann, a true broadcast professional who is not known for missing on-air appearances, we finally tracked her down in a seedy motel, scantily clad, and in the company of several strange and suspicious celebrity convicted felons of low moral repute…OOOOPS …JUST KIDDING! Tina had suffered a personal emergency that distracted her from her schedule, and we forgive her 100%. Hopefully Tina Dirmann will be able to join us on True Crimes in the near future, and all of us at OutlawRadioUSA wish her all the best.
For those of you searching for our previous two shows in the archives, DON”T FRET -- they were recorded by Magic Matt Alan, but as Matt has no idea how to upload them, we have to wait until web mistress Diane recovers from spending another night with Greg Proops to get them in the archives and on our player.
Three people have told me that the picture of me on our banner makes me look like I’m dying of some strange disease, and that I should use a different picture. Okay, I changed the banner, and inserted a pic of Don and me taken by Lori Downey, friend of alpacas, widow of the late Morton Downey Jr., and ‘significant otherette” of Matt Alan.
The only really recent pic of me (Don always looks fine) was taken at the Christmas party of “Mafia Wife” Georgia Durante.

Tina Dirmann, author of VANISHED AT SEA, is famous. Honest. Trust me on this. You have probably seen her on E! and said to yourself, "Wow, she is one talented example of broadcast journalism at its finest, but can she cook up a lively mass market true crime paperback for the target demographic known for consuming non-fiction literature plucked from the best seller rack at Albertsons?" Don't feel alone for asking that - millions have. And the answer of course is YES YES YES!!! Tina Dirmann has written more than one hit true crime book, PLUS she has interviewed real criminals and politicians (same difference, usually) and show biz big-shots...except she hasnt interviewed Burl Barer and Don Woldman YET -- so WE will interview HER this Saturday!
Vanished at Sea is shocking, compelling and, to Ms Dirmann's delight, selling briskly.
WAIT! THERE'S MORE!!
ROBIN SAX -- yes THAT Robin Sax. No, not Robin Sachs, ROBIN SAX - she is the L.A. Prosecutor who goes after people who do horrid things to kids, and I mean worse than making them brand conscious at an early age.
Robin Sax is a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney who specializes in prosecuting sex crimes against children. For over fifteen years, she has prosecuted some of the most despicable defendants who have committed the most heinous crimes. For the last seven years, she has been the prosecuting attorney for the Child Sexual Assault division of the Los Angeles County Sex Crimes Unit. In that capacity, Robin works with a multi-disciplinary team at UCLA's Rape Treatment Center/The Stuart House, along with law enforcement, victims’ advocates, social workers, and members of the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. She conducts forensic interviews of child victims of sexual abuse, structures investigation plans to maximize the chances of successfully prosecuting their abusers, and handles all aspects of subsequent prosecutions.
A nationally renowned legal analyst and speaker ,Robin is a legal analyst and commentator often called upon to provide insight into high profile media cases. She was most recently featured on Nancy Grace and Larry King Live, where she covered current news stories involving Natalee Holloway, Stacey Peterson, and Baby Grace. She also recently appeared on Fox News THE LINE UP, discussing the Bobbie Cutts and OJ Simpson cases, among others. Robin’s radio appearances include regular spots on “The Dana Pretzer Show” on scaredmonkeys.com. BUT the highlight of Robin's media appearances is her live debut on TRUE CRIMES with Burl Barer and Don Woldman.
Robin is also a sought-after speaker on child sexual assault, family violence, domestic abuse, stalking, Internet safety, and the criminal justice system. For over a decade she has shared her valuable insight and expertise at national conferences and with the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and the California District Attorney's Association.
Both Robin and Tina will join Don Woldman and Burl Barer Saturday December 20th LIVE on TRUE CRIMES!
Actually, they may both join us IN PERSON...yes, sitting down with us in the Lighten Up Lounge! WOO HOO.
