Scott Bonn was a hot-shot executive at NBC --

and then one day he woke up and realized that it was no longer owned by RCA, and General Sarnoff was not ruling the universe from down the hall.................so he left NBC and went back to college and became a SOCIOLOGIST.

 What do they do?  Okay -- if you owned an ant farm, you could study the ants and figure out all the different things about ant society.  Sociologists such as Doc Bonn study life as you and I live it...and guess what? Unlike the ants, we can read the research about our "ant farm."

The following week, August 8th, we celebrate Burl Barer's birthday with the return of Daniel Genis!

After his release from prison, Genis was selected for representation by the Mary Evans' literary agency. Genis sold his forthcoming memoirs  to Penguin Books

His writings have appeared in Vice magazine, twice in Paris Review, Washington Post, New York Daily News, New York Postand The Guardian online. Genis wrote an article for Vice entitled, "New York State's Scariest Prison" concerning the escapees at Clinton Correctional Facility in June 2015.^[29] Genis also appeared on NBC Universal's Deadline in June 2015 to discuss Clinton's escape^[30] and was quoted by The Buffalo News in its article "Escaping prison, surviving the wild: the journey of Matt and Sweat".^[31]

Award-Winning Author/TV Producer Gary Grossman Live Saturday 2pm PT

  Gary Grossman author of EXECUTIVE COMMAND and the sequel EXECUTIVE TREASON, is a print and television journalist, an Emmy Award-winning network television producer, and a film and TV historian.

His career has included stints producing for NBC News, ABC, CBS NBC, Fox, PBS, and more than 27 cable networks.  Any man that successful has  been fired plenty of times!

Together, they have produced more than 6,000 programs and earned numerous awards, yet the absolute highpoint of Gary Grossman's career is sitting in the Lighten Up Lounge as featured guest on True Crime Uncensored while Howard Lapides explains how he (Howard) discovered Gary back when Gary was doing the all-night shift weekends at a 250 watt AM radio station that signed off at sundown.  There were no listeners, no pay but the experience was priceless.  That isn't a true story.
