Known to fellow criminals as PUNCH,  Pavle Stanimirović (born May 10, 1972) is a Serbian-American reformed criminal, media personality and writer.

     Retired from a life of crime and incarceration, today he is a Miami-based writer and media personality. He is a criminal authority, safe-cracker, jewel thief, member of the YACS and closely tied to the the Pink Panthers.

"Stealing is an art form, and I was one of those artists. I was a Heist Guy -- a mastermind of the Heist.  Others would utilize my services for Mission Impossible type stuff.  We would get things that were well hidden and much wanted -- worth its weight in gold or diamonds.  As a burglar/theif you need to know that is is all an art, and an act. It has to be perfect. You never break character until the job is done. Once you put on that mask, you become "The Heist Man" and you must perform the greatest acts without anyone getting hurt.  That was our famous trait -- no one gets hurt. Only one person ever got shot during one of my heists, and that was by accident."

 In the early morning hours of July 22, 1991, Milwaukee Police Homicide Detective Patrick Kennedy would be called out to a multiple murder crime scene that would ultimately change his life forever. Jeffrey Dahmer was a son and brother turned predatory sexual serial killer, undetected until he was captured and who then went on to confess to committing 17 murders. Kennedy s reassuring and calm manner allowed him to ultimately build a rapport with his suspect in order to elicit a confession that provided information albeit horrific information to numerous families and friends of missing and disappeared young men in Milwaukee. He believed the case had complexities due to the sheer horror of it yet the killer remained one of the more human murderers that he had ever interrogated. Dahmer Detective: The Interrogation and Investigation that Shocked the World goes inside the police interrogation room where Kennedy spent long days during six chaotic weeks with Jeffrey Dahmer as he confessed to his life as a serial murderer, while the world s media clamored outside for information and confirmation about the story of one of the most notorious killers of the 20th century. Published in 2016, Dahmer Detective marks the 25th anniversary of Jeffrey Dahmer s capture and arrest.

 

Former Milwaukee Police Department Homicide Detective Patrick Kennedy, PhD. spent several months engulfed in a serial killer case that made headlines around the world. After spending several more years as a detective and after returning from time in Paraguay with the Peace Corp, he returned to college and went on to teach criminal justice at two Wisconsin universities. He was featured in the documentary film, The Jeffrey Dahmer Files in 2012 (JEFF: The Movie).

An active PAL (Police Athletic League) participant, Patrick Kennedy passed away in April 2013. Robyn Maharaj is a freelance journalist, grant writer, and former arts director based in Canada. Since 1991, she's published feature articles, profiles, poetry, and book and film reviews in numerous Canadian newspapers, magazines, and literary journals. Co-founder of Thin Air: the Winnipeg International Writers Festival, one of her literary essays was published in the 2006 anthology, The Winnipeg Connection: Writing Lives at Mid-Century. In 2014, crimemagazine.com published her feature article, "Exorcising Dahmer's Ghost."

He was a hard-working small business owner, an Army veteran, an attentive lover, and a doting father. But he was also something more, something sinister. A master of deception, he was a rapist, arsonist, and bank robber, and a new breed of serial killer, one who studied other killers to perfect his craft. He methodically buried kill-kits containing his tools of murder years before returning to reclaim them. Viewing the entire country as his hunting grounds, he often flew across the country to distant locations where he would rent a car and drive hundreds or even thousands of miles before randomly selecting his victims. Such were the methods and madness of serial killer Israel Keyes. Such were the demands of the 'Devil in the Darkness.'

J.T. Hunter is an attorney with over fourteen years of experience practicing law, including criminal law and appeals, and he has significant training in criminal investigation techniques. He is also a college professor in Florida where his teaching interests focus on the intersection of criminal psychology, law, and literature.

JT credits his legal and literary training for any success he has had as a writer. He sees many parallels between the tasks associated with writing a true crime novel and those involved in preparing for trial.

He is always on the lookout for compelling true crime stories that deserve to be told, and he welcomes suggestions or leads for new material via email.

In his spare time, JT pretends to be an expert on baseball, and he takes comfort in the fact that there's always next year.
