took everything they had, I even opened my first vault and took thousands of carats of semi-precious and precious gems that were in the vault. The rest of the gems were in a locked steel cabinet inside what looked like strong boxes but not strong enough against a crowbar and a big screwdriver. They opened with little resistance, revealing astonishing treasures, including a stunning emerald necklace worth $175,000, plus another two thousand carats of the finest emeralds you’ve ever seen. We loaded the boodle into eight black canvas bags and they were incredibly heavy. We managed to get all eight bags out due to our combined physical strength and the added boost of adrenaline. With the job well done, I returned through an open window to take a last look and was casually walking towards the office when all a sudden, a side door pops open and in comes the NYPD.
